DUI Violations

Alabama has three different DUI laws that its residents are urged to follow. The first of which concerns the vast majority of the driving population, those who are above the age of 21 and are general drivers. This group of people cannot have a blood alcohol content that is greater than .08 percent. Commercial drivers, however, have a much stricter rule that they must follow as the percentage is cut in half, their blood alcohol content limit is .04 percent. Finally, all of those drivers who are still under the age of 21 and cannot drink legally have a BAC ceiling of .02 percent.
