Speeding Tickets

A speeding ticket is one that is given when you do not follow the posted speed limit that was put up in the area of the state that you were driving in. Speed limits vary from location to location. School zones will ask you to drive more slowly than residential areas. Residential areas require a lower speed limit than highways. By deciding that you are not going to follow these posted laws, you are running the risk of getting pulled over and fined a substantial amount of money. You are also putting yourself at risk of getting points on your driver's license.
