Alabama Cell Phone Laws

In the state of Alabama, there are some very important driving rules that pertain to the use of cellphones. If you are either 16 or 17 years old and have had your driver's license for less than six months, for example, you are not allowed to use a cellphone in any way while you're driving. Another regulation that you need to be aware of is the fact that no resident of the state, regardless of their age, is allowed to send text messages, e-mails or instant messages while driving. The result of breaking either of these laws is a fine and possibly other penalties decided by the state.
